S P O T, Inc. is seeking a skilled and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists to provide therapy services to children in our outpatient clinic setting. You will assist in implementing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and documenting progress. You will work collaboratively with a team of therapists and support staff to deliver individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each child.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
Implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision and guidance of Occupational Therapists
Providing one-on-one therapy sessions and group activities to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills
Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and continuity of care
Monitoring and documenting progress, whiling communicating with the OT when treatment plans need to be adjusted as necessary.
Assisting in the maintenance and organization of therapy materials and equipment
Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an ACOTE-accredited college or school
Current and valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric patients
Knowledge of sensory integration techniques, fine motor skills development, and adaptive equipment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy
Basic understanding of how to use EMR system or willingness to learn
